The nice warming trend this week really had the inshore fish thinking it was springtime. The snook fishing up river around Redfish point in the Manatee river has been very productive along with the docks along the mouth of the Braden River. The sheepshead fishing on the inner bay reefs has picked up with spawning fish showing up in good numbers daily. Nearshore the Hogfish bite is as good as it gets in 40-50ft off of Anna Maria. Any ledges that you would normally fish for gag grouper is a good place to look for the hogs.
